The Story of Marconi's

The Full Story

Marconi’s first opened its doors in 1963, thanks to the passion and hard work of Salvatore and Angela Martello. What began as a cozy breakfast, lunch, and dinner spot across the street from where we are now quickly became a neighborhood favorite. Born and raised in Sicily, Salvatore crafted a menu that paid tribute to his roots—featuring traditionally prepared meats, seafood, fresh local vegetables, and our now-famous house-made sauces and pasta. Over the years, the restaurant remained a true family affair, with Salvatore’s son Carlo, his wife Kim, and their three daughters—Julia, Lauren, and Anna—carrying on the legacy alongside a dedicated team that feels like family.

Now, after 60 incredible years, the torch has been passed to Connor Allen. Alongside Chef Andres, Connor is proud to uphold the traditions that made Marconi’s a local staple while adding a fresh, modern twist to classic Sicilian cuisine. Whether you’re a long-time guest or visiting for the first time, we’re honored to welcome you to the Marconi’s family. Thank you for your continued support and for being part of our story!
